Full Home Renovations in Richmond, BC
A full renovation starts with the house you already have and looks at what needs to change so it fits the way you live now. For some families that means taking down walls to open up the main floor, and for others it means taking the whole house back and rebuilding the inside from there. We handle the trades, the schedule and the site, so you only ever have one team to deal with.

Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations
Most of the kitchens and bathrooms we rebuild are part of a larger renovation, since they're usually the rooms that make an older home feel dated. We work through the layout, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile and finishing rather than just replacing what's already there.
What a Whole House Renovation Can Include
This kind of project goes well past new finishes, and most of the homes we take on get work in every room along with the parts of the house you don't see. We often move or remove walls to open up the main floor, replace stairs and railings, rebuild fireplaces and rework the laundry room so it suits a busy household. Once the walls are open, we can replace the old wiring, plumbing and insulation that older houses tend to have, so the home is more comfortable to live in and costs less to heat.
The outside of the house can be part of the same project, with new siding, stonework and garage doors changing how the home looks from the street without starting over. If an older house needs more work than a renovation makes sense for, we'll tell you, since building new may be the better use of your budget.
How a Renovation is Coordinated
Most of the stress in a renovation comes from not knowing what happens next, so we start by walking the house with you and working out what has to change, what can stay, and what it will realistically cost. You get a schedule before any work begins, which tells you how long your kitchen will be out of use and when you will have your house back.
From there, you deal with the same team the whole way through, so there is no halfway handover and no new face turning up without warning. We book the trades, keep the site tidy, and tell you when something changes rather than leaving you to find out. Most of the people working on your renovation have been with us for years, which means the standard stays the same from the first day to the last.
Renovating Older Homes in Established Neighbourhoods
Most of the renovations we take on are in Steveston, Seafair, Broadmoor and Riverdale, where many of the houses were built decades ago with layouts that made sense at the time. A lot of these homes are well built but have closed-off main floors, small kitchens and dated finishes, and a full renovation lets you stay on the street you love while reworking the inside around how your family lives now.
