Kitchen and Bathroom Renovations in Richmond

These are the rooms you use hardest and notice most, and in a Richmond home built twenty or thirty years ago they are usually the first thing to feel dated. We rebuild them properly, working through layout, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, tile and finishing rather than just replacing what is already there.

Most of the work below was done as part of larger renovations, which is how we prefer to work when the layout needs to change. If the walls are staying where they are, we take on single rooms as well.

How We Approach a Kitchen or Bathroom

The cabinetry and tile are what you see, but whether the room works comes down to what sits behind them, so we start there. Moving a sink or a range means moving plumbing and venting, and taking out a wall between a kitchen and a dining room means knowing what that wall is holding up first. We work all of that out on paper before anything gets pulled apart, so there are fewer surprises once the work starts.

These rooms get the same people and the same standard as a full custom build, so whether you are updating one bathroom or reworking a kitchen as part of a larger renovation, we approach it the same way.
